In the heady summer of 1991 I was just about to start my final year of primary school. The days were long, and mostly involved ‘playing out’. I’d ride my bike endlessly around the block, switching every so often, to my Garfield roller boots. They do say that variety is the spice of life, after all.
The blockbuster movie that year was the Kevin Costner vehicle Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. And the song, the never. Ending. Song. Was Bryan Adams’ whiny ballad Everything I Do. It was number one for sixteen long weeks. And it was EVERYWHERE. ALL THE TIME!
I prefer this version
That stewiee version was pretty good. I saw references to Pink Floyd: The Wall and White Stripes: Fell in love with a Girl Video
Ugh I hate that song so much!! hahaha, that Stewie version is great, I’d forgotten that one. Thanks for sharing!
BTW those are AWESOME roller-skates or whatever they are called
I’ve tried to make myself hate this song, honest Laura, I really have…but I can’t help singing-along in my own limited way. I was one of many responsible for keeping it at number #1 for 9-years. Please don’t shoot…
