Films with friends: Dog Soldiers

posters
I was chatting on The Twitter with my good friends Emma and Eric, the other day, and we were saying how much we liked Dog Soldiers, and how much fun it was and how it’d be even funner still if we all watched it together.  So they’re coming over here tomorrow and we’re going to watch this shit out of this thing.  We’ll be chatting throughout (down there in the comments section) if you’re at all interested.

Get your hot dogs in the griddle pan, pop your popcorn and crack open a beer.  We’re watching Dog Soldiers.  #meguts!

And beware, our ramblings will definitely contain massive SPOILERS.

POST SCRIPT:

So, we just finished up, the evidence can be found below.  I had a load of fun, and have a new appreciation for this film.  It’s original and funny with great characters you can really get behind, and there’s some BRILLIANT AND HILARIOUS dialogue.  Thanks a bajillion to my friends Emma and Eric for taking the time to visit this evening, and for sticking with it despite the technical difficulties.

My score for Dog Soldiers: 8/10

  1. Can this be recorded. I have never seen this movie but I still would love to hear your thoughts on it. I can even add it as a special episode for Film Pasture later on

    • Vern! That’s a brilliant idea but I’ve got an hour to get home and sorted before we press play so I’m up against it! Maybe we could do another one on a different film?

      • I’m in the same boat as Laura but we should definitely do it again (goes without saying!) and record it 🙂

I’m SO excited for tonight’s viewing!!!!!!

        (and Sunday’s recording Verny!)

  2. Sorry to be SUCH a pain (me guts!) but I can’t comment at the moment. It’s all very strange! I just can’t reply. Please keep watching!

  3. Too bad we’re not drinking every time they used to word bollocks we’d be smashed…
